We have announced the expansion of our existing Macquarie Park Data Centre Campus in Sydney, Australia, from 10MW to 50MW.
This significant development will be undertaken in phases to meet the needs of global hyperscalers and clouds, enterprise and Government customers.
Phase 1 will be the build of the IC3 East data centre, which expands the capacity at our Macquarie Park Data Centre Campus from a total load of 10MW to 26MW. IC3 East will be an Uptime Institute Tier III certified data centre. It will have 13,400m² in total floor space, have an industry-leading PUE of 1.28, and we are targeting a NABERS 5-star energy performance rating.
Phase 2 will see the further expansion of the campus with the development of the IC3 West data centre by a further 17MW – bringing the total capacity to a global scale of 50MW.
Building on over 18 years of data centre experience, this purpose-built Colocation Data Centre will feature peak Government physical security standards and independently certified ISO27001:2013 and PCI DSS V3.2.1 and ISM compliance.
