What are Cyber Hubs?
Cyber Hubs is a multi-year, whole-of-government initiative designed to uplift the cyber security posture of all federal government agencies.
They are the delivery mechanism of the Hardening Government IT (HGIT) initiative, established under Australia’s cyber security strategy, to strengthen the defence of government networks.

Who are the Cyber Hubs?
The commencement of a Cyber Hub Pilot was announced in April 2021 for four Hub Lead Agencies Department of Home Affairs, Department of Defence (DoD), Services Australia and Australian Taxation Office (ATO). They are testing the core services and operating models which will be used to inform the design of the Whole-of-Government Cyber Hubs model.
