Software as a Service (SaaS) is a software distribution model where applications are hosted by a service provider and made available to users via the Internet. SaaS applications are available anytime and anywhere on any internet-connected device. The SaaS provider manages the data storage and application maintenance eliminating additional end-user expense for hardware, maintenance, software licenses and support.
