“It will take away much of the pain and uncertainty for agencies trying to select the right technology partners.

“Creating a level playing field for ICT service providers – where the features and pricing of their offering are presented in one place, in one format, in a clear and consistent manner – empowers buying agencies to make good decisions,” Ms Anderson said.

The marketplace will mean agencies will be able to more easily make informed decisions, matching services with their needs, and put together an ICT environment that is flexible, adaptable and efficient. will also boost opportunities for Australian businesses by allowing agencies to become better-informed buyers, without needing intermediaries to help navigate the complexity of differently presented services,” Ms Anderson said.
