Uptime Institute: Tier III Concurrently Maintainable

Uptime Institute certification allows you to immediately know that certain criteria have been met and confirmed with external auditors. Data Centres are complex creatures with many components subject to failure. They need regular maintenance and some require redundancy or alternate systems to ensure they never go down. With a simple scale of Tiering from (I) which is no redundancy, to (IV) which is “dual everything”, it’s easy to see the quality and investment that goes into ensuring your IT systems never fail.
