Dissemination Limiting Marker (DLM)
Dissemination Limiting Marker is a type of security classification to grade the confidentiality requirements of official information, prescribed under the Australian Government Information Security Management (ISM) guidelines. DLM marking is used for information where disclosure may be limited or prohibited by legislation, or where special handling of the information is required.
This protocol applies to all entities applying the Protective Security Policy Framework. It covers all information assets owned by the Australian Government, or those entrusted to the Australian Government by third parties, within Australia.
